And she was leaving the sunshine state, her home, behind. Leaving the beautiful sand&raging ocean for snow and calmer waters. Leaving the people she loved for something unknown and unbroken. It was terrifying and beautiful and she was afraid she would always be homesick but never really able to return. Its hard to leave a place, not just because you'll miss it, but because you'll miss the person you were while you were there, she was afraid she would never feel that way again. and how do you become a whole new person? she didnt know but she had to try. It was the only way to escape the constant danger her home had become. she could never go back, and even if she did it wouldnt be home anymore. Now she is colorful leaves&cold winds&colder water. Nothing like the beaches she grew up on. but better, different, safer. Safer. Safer. Safer.
